My surgeon prescribed this sling and OrthoRx provided excellent service. After measuring and ordering the sling, the sling was actually too small for me. I left the hospital with a simple sling that didn't provide much support or comfort. We reached out to OrthoRx to get a new sling. They were great to communicate over the weekend and ship a new sling to me quickly. The new sling arrived and it was much more supportive and comfortable. The ball and abduction cushion was really helpful. The sling could benefit from some cushioning around the ring on the back side - sleeping was a bit uncomfortable. The velcro frayed some of my shirts. Overall, the sling is good and I would recommend it.

I am relieved and very glad I had this sling following my surgery rather than a regular one. It kept my arm secure and comfortable following surgery for first month.

My only problem with it was the velcro piece that went over the arm near the elbow. It was so securely in place I was unable to detach it to get my arm out of the sling by myself.

It was sturdy and effective. It became a bit annoying in the forth week, but I hung in for 2 more weeks. It made me feel safe after shoulder surgery.

Sling is difficult to put on and off b/c of Velcro straps. They stick to each other and other straps come undone. I had to visit an urgent care facility and a hospital to obtain help in putting the sling back on my body
