Chlorhexidine Pre-Op Soap - 115ml

Dexidin 4 Anti-septic Skin Cleanser and Surgical Scrub

Used to prepare skin prior to surgery to reduce your risk of infection.

Indications of Use:

Take TWO showers, one the night before surgery and another the morning of surgery.

  1. Remove all jewelry and body piercings.
  2. Wash your hair and body using your normal soap and shampoo. Rinse. Step away from the water.
  3. Wet a clean washcloth and apply Dexidin solution to the wet washcloth. Use half of the Dexidin for the first shower and half for the next one.
  4. Wash your entire body from the neck down using the wet, soapy washcloth. Clean your belly button thoroughly with Q-tips and Dexidin, (wash your outer genital and anal areas last). Leave the solution on the skin for 3 minutes, then rinse the cleaner thoroughly from your body.
  5. Use a clean towel to pat your skin dry.
  6. Dress in fresh clean sleepwear/clothes. Sleep in clean sheets the night before your surgery.

I ordered 2 Chlorhexidine Pre-Op Soap - 115ml for a scheduled surgery and the apparently was ordered and shipped. During the tracking process it was scheduled for delivery but that never happened, app indicated delay in delivery repeatedly for a number of days. I complained by email to OrthoRx about the timeliness of delivery and the product was needed ASAP. I ended up going to a drug store, on Friday, to buy the soap myself as I could wait no longer. On the Saturday morning someone from OrthRx came to my door with the soap t saying they had read my email and hand delivered the product adding that i would still receive my ordered product next week. Still have not received the original order. *5 stars for customer care/service and 1 star for the reliability of the delivery process.

You did notifiy us that the courier tracking was showing a delay. We do understand the importance of a timely delivery when it comes to pre-operative items. You were informed that one of our team members would personally drop off soap to you after hours on Friday.

We always ensure excpetional care and service and when things that are out of our control, like UPS courier delays happen, we take this opportunity to go above and beyond. The owner of the company personally hand deliver your soap with well wishes for surgery on Friday evening.

We did inform you at this time that should the original package arrive you are welcome to keep it or pass it on to someone that might need it.

I hope this helps to clarify the situation for those that want to get a better sense of our commitment to ensuring our patients are properly equipped and ready for surgery.
