Very helpful tool in recovery from knee replacement

My surgical team put this on me before I even left the step down recovery room and I used it almost non-stop during the day for the first two weeks (without compression), and it was very helpful. At my 2 week follow up my surgeon said he could almost tell without asking which patients had used a cryotherapy machine and which hadn't, it made that much difference. It was easy to use. If I had to do it again I think I wouldn't have bothered getting this model with the compression, as I only used it a little bit around week 3/4, but I definitely recommend the ice part of it.

Breg Polar Care Wave

Expensive but very helpful in supplying cold and compression postoperatively after total hip replacement. Easy to use fitted my rt hip comfortably. Initially quiet but noisy when maximum cold is applied. A worthwhile purchase if one can afford it. It alleviated my pain and swelling at the sight and rt hip and thighs.
