Step 1 - Boot
Your rehab and recovery will require the use of a boot. The Vacoped Pro Achilles boot is the preferred boot for your recovery. It is specifically designed to provide optimal functional positioning for Achilles rehab.
Vacoped Achilles Walking boot
The Vacoped Achilles Walking boot (formerly VacoCast Pro) is a walker that includes range of motion in 5 degree increments to allow for controlled activation of calf muscles and gradual increase in range of motion.
The Vacoped boot includes an achilles wedge sole and a detachable sole for in-home / sleeping cleanliness. The Vacoped boot incorporates an adjustable calf width to accommodate patients of varying sizes.
It comes with 2 Liners and 2 Keys.
Walking Boot - Tall
Used for injury management and post-operative care. The Rebound Air Walker is a circumferential walker with fully integrated air pump and release valve that provide easy, tool-free inflation and deflation for fine-tuned, consistent compression. It features a host of details designed to provide added protection, simplified application and usage, improved comfort and, ultimately, successful patient outcomes.
Ossur Rebound Achilles Wedge Kit
The Achilles Wedge kit is used for both surgical repairs and non-surgical treatment of achilles ruptures. The Achilles Wedge kit allows you to adhere to protocols of gradual reduction in plantar flexion during rehabilitation. Sizes are available in multi-fit boot sizes.
Step 2 - Non-Weight-Bearing

Finding the Right Fit:
Ensure the walker is fully opened and locked before use. Adjust the height so that the handles align with your wrists when your arms are at your sides. When gripping the handles, your elbows should be bent at a comfortable 15°–20° angle. If you feel the need to stoop or overextend your arms, adjust the legs accordingly to find the ideal height.
